"The drums are skull crushing, its tempo like a panicked heartbeat struggling to maintain composure despite the constant air of fear that the guitar conjures and the palpable dread quaking from the bass. The vocals almost melt in with the instruments’ thunder, like a shapeless, cosmic terror whispering its intent from beyond reality’s veil." - Cvlt Nation
"Things clatter, blast and roar while feedback pushes coarsely through it all" - Collective Zine
"Languish meet the challenge head-on in 10 roman numeral-numbered fits of grinding sludge, challenging the listener to figure out where one song/part ends and the next begins with a series of stops and starts, changes in tempo and vibe, growls and shouts bolstering the violent inclinations on display. Deceptively precise as the style they’re working in would demand" - The Obelisk
"Languish - it's coffin to the grave. The base doom / black metal is constantly violated by grindcore incursions from the battery and the voice coming from the bottom of the belly. Even though Americans there is much European school in this quartet that would look good on stage with the Dead Infection. Note that there is an attempt to implement some more unusual elements to the genre through irreproachable Zack Hansen battery work, but overall violence eventually overshadow some what good will retain." - Ultraje.pt
